Required Disclosure Statement

Pennsylvania law requires that all campaign materials include the following statement: “Paid for by Dr. Deshawnda Williams for State Representative.” This statement appears on all digital and print campaign materials produced by this campaign.

Donation Processing

Online contributions are processed through ActBlue, a federally registered fundraising platform. ActBlue is not affiliated with the Democratic Party or any candidate. Contributions processed through ActBlue are subject to ActBlue’s terms of service and privacy policy.

Public Disclosure of Donor Information

Pennsylvania campaign finance law requires the Campaign to disclose the name, address, occupation, and employer of all donors whose aggregate contributions exceed the applicable reporting threshold during a reporting period. These reports are filed with the Pennsylvania Department of State and are available for public inspection.

Contribution Restrictions

The following are prohibited from making contributions to this campaign:

  • Corporations (including LLCs taxed as corporations) from their general treasury funds
  • Foreign nationals (non-U.S. citizens who are not lawfully admitted, permanent residents)
  • Federal government contractors during the period of their contracts
  • Contributions made in another person’s name (straw donors)
  • Cash contributions exceeding $100

Refund Policy

The Campaign reserves the right to refund contributions that are determined to be in violation of applicable law or that the Campaign is otherwise unable to accept. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Campaign within 30 days of the contribution date.

Reporting Schedule

Campaign finance reports are filed with the Pennsylvania Department of State on the schedule required by the Pennsylvania Election Code. Reports are publicly available at www.dos.pa.gov.
